The forests of Tirumala are highly revered and specially taken care of in order to maintain the delicate ecological balance at the Hill.The TTD has introduced a series of schemes which provide a rare opportunity of mass participation in the massive plantation programme by the forest department of the TTD.
- VRIKSHA SAMVARDHANAM
- Donation : Rs 25,000/-
- 500 plants will be planted on the sacred seven hills.
- Plants will be maintained for five years.
- Plantation can be named after the donor.
- 100 % Income tax exemption.
- VRIKSHA PRASADAM
- Donation : Rs 15,000/-
- Distribution of 100 seedlings (Fruit bearing & flowering) every year for ten years.
- 100 % Income tax exemption.
- SMARAKA VANALU
- Donation : Rs 5,000/-.
- 10 saplings of selected species will be planted in a grove at Tirumala.
- Plants will be maintained for five years.
- The Grove can be named after the donor.
- 100 % Income tax exemption.
- VANA SAMRAKSHANA BHAGASWAMYAM
- Donation : Rs 2,000/-
- Will be used to improve and protect forest cover at Tirumala
- 100 % Income tax exemption
In addition to the above the schemes the public can send any amount as per their wishes , which will be utilised in the aforestation programme.
